Best Places to Eat on Miami Beach

We often get asked by friends of BOOST TV who are visiting the Miami area, where they should go and eat or visit when they are on Miami Beach. Here is a brief list of places we visit regularly with some brief notes.
Ocean Drive:
Clevelander. Good to watch a game and people watch. Gets packed on Event Weekends.

Palace — incredible show on weekends during day and early night. Cross dressers dancing.

Mangos —- great if it rains during the day or Friday/Saturday night. This is the keystone of Ocean Drive. Live Band plays, Dancers on the bar, great shows. One of Ronnie G's favorite places.

Mickey Burkes — typical Irish Pub with a good crowd. DJ/s Music on the weekends
South Beach Restaurants/Bars:

Smith & Wollensky —- great views right next to water. Awesome steaks. Friday Happy Hour. Saturday early dinner. Sunday Happy Hour into early dinner.
Prime 112 — very very good steaks. Celebrities galore. No views. $$$
Papi Steak. Def one of the few must go to spots when visiting in Miami. Super bougieeee. $$$$$$.

Pub Belly Sushi — good mix of sushi and unique Asian infused foods.
Sushi Garage—- in sunset harbor. Very good sushi
Fogo de Chao —- Brazilian steak house. Usually around $50 per person and unlimited food.
Monty’s —- great for the sunset and to grab a beer
Burgermeister -- Right off of 5th St. Awesome burgers. 2 minute walk to Beach.
Segafredo— on Lincoln Road. Great to sit outside and grab a drink while people watching
Mickey Burke. Irish pub type place on Washington Ave South Beach
Bodega —- great for the 20 something crowd. Usually a band or dj playing. Speakeasy. Need to walk thru bathroom to enter.
Bay Club —- local spot great on Thursday nights for Karaoke. Awesome pizza. Attached to Lucali
Standard Hotel—- Lido Pool members only inside. Eclectic crowd. Fun spot. Classy.
Forte de Arms— great spot for Italian food without breaking the bank Ocean Drive
The Lobster Shack —- awesome spot south of fifth for lobster
Mondrian/Baia Beach. Best sunsets in Miami. Have to be a member to get in but Restaurant is open to the public
Sushi Garage - Sunset Harbour. Really good sushi happy hour.
Bacon Bitch. 10th and Collins. Super good breakfast. Urban crowd. Fun time.
STK - main floor of One Hotel. Good food. Good vibe. Steak house
Smith & Wollensky. South Point Park. Great steak. Phenomenal views.
Santorini. 1st and Ocean. Great Greek food. Restaurant and people are ok.
Barceloneta. Sunset Harbour. Good spot for early evening drinks.
Fountaineblue. 5 restaurants. Center bar in lobby is always fun.
Lucali. Sunset Harbour. Best pizza.
Casa Tua. Bougieeee Italian food.
Oliver’s. Good spot for an easy brunch. People watching. Not fancy. Not expensive. Locals hang there. West Ave
CViche105 — good Peruvian fusion. Decent location on Lincoln Road.
Las Olas Cafe. 6th and Meridian. Authentic Cuban breakfast. Like and 82 year old Cuban Abuelita will make your cafecito Bad location. Good food.
FAT RONNIES == great burger and awesome lobster roll. West side of Lincoln Road
